We’re hosting welcome drinks the night before the wedding as a casual meet-and-greet for guests who arrived early to the city. This is an optional event, meant to offer a relaxed setting for friends to reconnect before the big day. There will be beer, wine, and small bites to enjoy.
What should I wear?
The dress code is Black Tie Optional / Formal. This means guests are encouraged to wear more elegant attire. Men can wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie, while women can wear a formal gown, cocktail dress, or dressy separates
Are children welcome?
Yes, we love children and would be happy to have them at our wedding as listed on your invite! However, we completely understand if you'd prefer to enjoy a night out together. The choice is yours!
Can I bring a plus-one?
Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. If you received a plus-one, it will be noted on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 5pm, so please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to find your seat. The cocktail hour and reception will follow immediately after.
Where should I park?
If you chose to drive into Manhattan, there are 2 parking garages that are less than a block away.
(1) 650 Park Ave Garage - 650 Park Ave, New York, NY 10065 (2) IPark - 49 E 67th St, New York, NY 10065
Are there any accommodations for out-of-town guests?
We have reserved a block of rooms at two hotels for our out-of-town guests. Please reference the "Travel" section on our website for more details and the booking links.
Should I arrive early?
The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is located within the building. For security reasons, guests will need to check in upon arrival, so we kindly recommend allowing some extra time for this process.
